Rebecca Davis (Chair)
Rebecca is the Director of the Change & Innovation Agency and an impact strategist. She works with leaders from the public and private sectors, iwi, and NGOs to develop and implement social change and social innovation approaches. Rebecca has extensive experience in community mobilisation, human-centric practice, and enabling innovation. She has worked on regional projects addressing youth employment, the prevention of domestic violence, health prevention, youth participation in sport, and building not-for-profit sector capacity. Rebecca spent almost eight years in tertiary education, and 12 years in media organisations before starting the Change & Innovation Agency.
Rebecca is committed to supporting New Zealand leaders to have more courageous conversations, to think outside the box, and act swiftly to remove the systemic barriers to equality and equity.
Wiwini is a chartered accountant with a passion for working with Maori organisations. He has advised a wide range of clients from large post settlement entities to land trusts to micro businesses in industries such as property investment/development, agribusiness and manufacturing.
Wi has an entrepreneurial spirit which is evident from his 15 various business ventures over the years. He is driven to practice what he preaches about sensible cash management, innovative marketing concepts and dealing with employee issues.
Daniel is a founding board member of TYMS and Chairperson from 2013-2016. He has a background in business management in the health sector as Managing Director of Avondale Family Health Centre. Away from work Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and is passionate about basketball having played and coached at Waitakere and Massey Basketball Associations for over 20 years.
Jeremy is a seasoned tertiary education professional with extensive experience in the private and public training sector at senior management level. He is passionate about community development, Maori economic development, training and development, and working with people. Jeremy brings a wealth experience to the TYMS Board from his business and professional background around developing people, designing, developing and delivering competency-based training and training programmes, He is highly skilled in people-management communication, coordination and planning. Jeremy is also passionate about music and supporting up and coming bands – and still he finds time to perform!
